Larger industrial biogas operations naturally have much great flaring needs and the BFE-2000 enclosed biogas flare is just the solution needed to allow your site to safely and reliably burn off up to 2,000 Nm3/hour of excess biogas.
The BFE-2000 enclosed biogas flare system includes:
The primary advantage of using an enclosed flare is related to increased level of methane destruction efficiency that can be claimed through CDM carbon credits. By using a BKE enclosed biogas flare, our customers can claim 90% methane destruction efficiency through the CDM framework. A greater level of methane destruction is not only better for the environment, but it also means a greater CDM payback.
All key components are made from stainless-steel to resist the corrosive effects of hydrogen sulfide. The automatic control system and redundant safety features ensure that it is not only easy to operate, but also very safe to be around.
