Protect your people, plant and equipment from backfire by preventing the transmission of flames or explosions while allowing process flame to flow. Flame arresters can be fitted both end-of-line at the gas origin and every 100m in-line along the gas piping.

For biogas, which comes is highly corrosive and combustible, stainless steel flame arresters are critical safety systems. BKE Flame Arresters are designed by to meet the EN 12874 and ATEX 137 standards.

BKE Biogas Flame Arresters are available in two configurations:

SINGLE ELEMENT FLAME ARRESTERS are designed for end-of-line applications, such as a flare or a burner.

DOUBLE ELEMENT FLAME ARRESTERS are designed for in-line applications.
